Mr. Power Masemola is PMG’s co-managing director in South Africa. His area of expertise is in small enterprise development and corporate social responsibility. He is an accredited trainer with a number of public sector agencies, including the International Labour Organization (ILO). His experience spans over 16 years with competencies in business management, skills and training needs analysis; financial literacy and management; project management; human resources management and leadership development.
Power has worked with: the South African government’s Department of Small Business Development’s, in particular, the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA); Tshwane Metropolitan Municipal Council; the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) and the Education, Training and Development (ETD) Authority. He consults on entrepreneurship on behalf of social corporate responsibility programs for a number of blue chip private sector companies such as the South Africa Breweries of SABMiller, the financial services group Sanlam and Momentum, a member of South Africa’s Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed MMI Holdings Limited.
Power’s has managed funder–grantee relationships for South Africa’s Department of Health (DOH) and small grants from the National Development Agency. He worked for two years as an advisor to the Vista University Entrepreneurship Program Support Consultant for SMME in the Tshwane Metropolitan area.
